FORTNEY & WEYGANDT SPREADS HOLIDAY CHEER!
Fortney & Weygandt continued our holiday tradition of giving back to the community in 2009. Year’s end saw a variety of charities receiving a basket of holiday cheer in the form of donations from Fortney & Weygandt. Organizations on this year’s Santa list were: The Cleveland Christian Home, the Salvation Army, the United Way, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the USO, Coats for Kids, the American Red Cross, the Mercy Corps, Cleveland Scholarship Programs, and the Cleveland Food Bank.

Another annual Fortney & Weygandt tradition was served as a truck load of frozen turkeys were donated to needy inner city families. The turkey and sack of potatoes treat was distributed by the senior management team through Brother Hubbard Cupboard in downtown Cleveland.

The entire staff at Fortney & Weygandt realizes the blessings bestowed upon us and is proud to spread our good fortune to the charitable causes that mean so much to our employees.

FORTNEY & WEYGANDT TURNS GREENER
In recognition of the important issue of sustainability, Fortney & Weygandt has enhanced our capabilities in the "GREEN" building arena.  Our Project Management team has taken the lead with two project managers earning LEED AP certification.  Project Manager Matt Garra and Bard Fulton, a Project Manager in the Rollout Services Group, have recently received the LEED accreditation from the United Stated Green Building Council. As green building rises to the forefront of the construction industry, we believe that it is our responsibility as a premier provider of construction services to deliver projects that are environmentally friendly.  We remain committed to the efforts of the government, the architectural and design community, and the construction industry to tackle this important social and economic issue.

Please contact us at Fortney & Weygandt to discuss how you can help the planet and your bottom line by making your next project a “GREEN” one.
